Can hypnosis replace traditional anesthesia in surgery?

well I would consider it no more effective even if it did work than meditation. we can lesson our perception of pain with hypnotism in a similar way we can with meditation but I don't see how this would prevent shock in a major surgery so ill take the good old fashion shot.

Back to school after 2 decades

so.. err A few years back I left the military service, since I have wanted to start over so to speak. I have a large background in electrical theory and working with radios, avionics systems and radar. I am not good at math calculation though I understad most math concepts. I wish for a...

    Higgs field issues of detection?

helium gas can become a superfluid I don't understand? this from "In particle language, the constant Higgs field is a superfluid of charged particles, and a charged superfluid is a superconductor. Inside a superconductor, the gauge electric and magnetic fields both become short-ranged, or...

    Higgs field issues of detection?

my view. The current theory of the higgs field is based on the higgs boson. Now a boson, in theory has to conform to the rules of super-fluidity or a Bose-Einstein Cond. I can confer because of this, All higgs bosons, would be interlocked as a field acting as one particle. I can say that since...
