Undergrad Water Flow Discharge: Is My Thinking Correct?

Perhaps pressure is not the right discription, I should of probably said force? The spiral is lower, but both are even at the bottom. Both have water, but the spiral since it is 100 foot long it would have that much more water.

Undergrad Water Flow Discharge: Is My Thinking Correct?

I've got two tubes filled with liquid, their both of equal diameters, the first one is straight up and down about 20 feet long, the other is 100 feet long but is spiraled like on a spool, since the straight tube has a higher fall than the spiral, I would assume that the straight tube would have...

Undergrad Water depth pressure against air pressure

In a ten foot by 6 inch tall container filled with water were to have another container secured in it midway but had the pressure of air in it, (the bottom is open), if the smaller container has a siphon into it could you siphon in more water, or would the pressure that keeps the water from...

Undergrad Lithium Properties: Magnetic & Electromagnetic Properties

trying to understand the physical properties of lithium, since it is a metalic liquid, Can it be magnetized? Could it be forced through a tube that has a current spiraling around it, like in an electromagnet? Does it break down over time, and what happens to it if it does?
