Thanks tony873004,
I read about Saros cycle and other ancient method used by Hindus. I actually wanted to know the modern method which the softwares use. Can I get a suggestion of a web page? Google's results were a bit flat. :(
Puzzled by light?
Why has light same velocity when measured from any frame?
I know about Maxwell's theoritical deduction (but not clearly) and the Michelson-Morley experimental deduction.
When understanding light I tried to make it analogous with sound. It just further degraded the...
Theist --> Atheist
I am a worshipper of science ie. I need evidence for everything I beleive. (I know I am not perfect at this!) I have often tried to talk to theists about my reasons for dumping the idea of God and found that theists are unaffected by any of these reasons due to the jacket of...
in black holes it is said that space curves into itself and flow of time is not predicatble. what does these actually signify? what is "space curves into itself "?
Is a spinning pseudogravity similar to centrifuge in any way.
If yes, then contents in it (like air) should also separate to layers (like H2 at top and heavier gases at bottom).
Is this correct? Could you help me with your ideas?
I got this problem while I was combining relativistic equations:
For particle which is in motion,
v = l /t
or, l = v * t
or, l= v * t0/(1-v^2/c^2)^(1/2) ' Relativistic equation for time "t"
If the particle was light,
l =(c * t0)/(1-v^2/c^2)^(1/2) '...
"I believe E=mc^2 works." But!
Photon (Packet of energy as described by Einstein in 1905, "Photoelectric effect") is mass less particle. So, the relation suggests that light should not have energy, though it has.
Is this wrong, if yes why?
