Gradient (dot) cross product of 2 differentiable vector functions
[b]1. For two differentiable vector functions E and H, prove that (Delta (dot) (e X h) = H (dot) (delta X e) - e (dot) (Delta X h) [b]2. Cross product and dot product. The Attempt at a Solution First I took did the left side of the equation, I took the cross product of vectors e and...- rasanders22

Does a bullet fired with a clockwise spin travel faster or slower
Well the reason I asked was I was thinking of the bullet spinning like a gyroscope and the inertia caused by a left or right spin would cause it to speed up or slow down. LIke how a spinning gyroscope can cause motion in a direction. As far as weight of a bullet and size. I've been into...- rasanders22

Do strain gauges need calibration
Are you using this instrument for any quantative or qualiatative anaylsists or is it just for indication purpose only? If your using it for playing aroudn with at home I'd say forgo getting it calibrated. But if you are using it for precise measurments, then your going to want to get it calibrated.- rasanders22

Math Skills Needed to Be an Engineer
As an engineering student you need calc 1,2,3, diffy q, and applied linear algebra for your undergrad. To actually work in the field? I don't know, I am still a student. But if the engineers my company employees is any indication, you need some algebra. My main engineer who supports the tools i...- rasanders22

Physics 2 question velocity of electrons and voltages
Prob statement: An electron is to be accelerated from a velocity of 1.00×10^6 m/s to a velocity of 9.90×10^6 m/s . Through what potential difference must the electron pass to accomplish this? equations: v=U/q0 1/2mv^2 U=K (this is where I have a question) Well I already have the...- rasanders22
