Graduate What Is the True Nature of Vacuum Space in Quantum Mechanics?
According to science space time matter and energy all coexist, so when you talk about empty space, or the vacuum of empty space, I assume you talk about space without matter. How can this be?!??! Would this be a different type of space beyond our normal comprehension, something beyond spacetime?- redhedkangaro

Graduate Can Quantum Computers Alter Gravity?
Hey guys, I was wondering if say you add an object, could you maybe add a machine onto that object, and by some sort of quantum computer device, alter the gravity around that object allowing it to float? Or could this only work in a sort of science fiction way?- redhedkangaro

Undergrad Can Black Holes Be Used for Space Travel and How Do They Compare to Wormholes?
Hey guys, This may be a silly question. I saw star trek the other day, and I know it is science fiction but I was wondering...My understanding is that black holes are a region in space-time from which nothing can escape. However it seems like in the movie they are also used to travel through...- redhedkangaro

High School Does Space Move? Answers to Your Questions
Haha, I saw star trek the other day, this is an interesting question, in the movie, scotty's formula allows for one to teleport onto something traveling at warp speed. Aside from the nerdiness, i believe if one travels at the speed of light, time stops (im not too sure) I could totally see...- redhedkangaro

Graduate Is Quantum Metaphysics Bridging Science and Spirituality Beyond Space and Time?
An exciting part about living in the time we do, is that science and spirituality are truly starting to come together. Scientists such as Fred Alan Wolf are making comparisons. There is something called Aleph or spirit in religion, "something" which exists beyond space time and the creator of...- redhedkangaro

Graduate Is Zero Point Energy a Fundamental Part of the Material Universe?
I was wondering if my thought on Zero Point Field was correct. First of all is it part of the material universe? Second, is it kind of like an ether or mediam through which things move through?- redhedkangaro

We know that there are opposites all around us with energy, you have positive and negative. With matter there is anitmatter. My question is what is the opposite of space and what is the opposite of time, and can anyone talk about what these opposites are?- redhedkangaro
