    Rate of universe expansion question

    If the universe were expanding and its accelerating at a rate of, say 'X' m/sec square. Then, does it mean that, all the matter in the universe is gaining some velocity each instant? If so, on examining Einstein's equation, E=mc2, it tells us that, if matter could be brought to the speed of...

    Is force times acceleration equal to power?

    Oops! that was so stupid of me :) You're right.

    Is force times acceleration equal to power?

    power = p(max)*Area*mean piston speed*rate of rotation*constant power = p(max)*Area*acceleration*constant power = force*acceleration*constant Is this right?

    Difference between Liquefaction & Condensation

    What is the difference between Liquefaction & Condensation, although both deal with change of state from gas to liquid?

    Marine Boiler-safe working pressure after finding pitting marks

    On finding pitting on a water tube marine boiler, after inspection, how do i check for its safe operating pressure? Would it be safe to fire it and bring it up to its design pressure as stated by the maker?
