Graduate Math Speculations Before Planck Epoch: Estimate of Time?
Granted, physicists acknowledge that we have no basis for speculating what the universe was like before the Planck Epoch. However, have mathematicians tried extrapolating pre-Planck Era conditions from the values after 10^-43 second? Is there an estimate of how much time passed between Time 0...- Rosen

Graduate Entanglement Geometry: Extra-Dimensional Spacetime or Wave Nature?
Has anyone considered whether particle entanglement might involve an extra-dimensional substructure of spacetime which negates the need for superluminal communication between entangled particles? If so, what characteristics would such a geometry need to instantly connect particles? Or is it...- Rosen

Graduate Physics & Cosmology: Dimensionless Void Pre Big Bang
Thank you for your responses. On reflection, I think my problem may be simply a matter of perspective. I know that there is no point of view outside the expanding universe (finite, but unbounded), despite the many diagrams illustrating such a perspective. That is there was no "dimensionless... -

Graduate Physics & Cosmology: Dimensionless Void Pre Big Bang
Is it within the realm of physics or cosmology to refer to a dimensionless void that may have preceded the big bang? If so, has there been any speculation or inquiry as to whether the uncertainty principle would have been in effect during such an era? Has anyone within physics attempted to... -

Graduate Why is heisenberg uncertainty not a limit of technology?
Hello, This is my first entrance into the Physics Forum so I'll ask a naive question. If an electron wave packet collapses into a particle, wouldn't it have to have a definite position and momentum in a single instant? Particularly if we don't observe it.- Rosen
