Undergrad KE of Gas Molecules: n, KbT, U, and 3/2R
K=R/(Avagadro's Num), so 3/2*R/(Avagadro's Num)*T=3/2nRT getting rid of the same constants I get 1/(Avagadro's Num)=n- RougeSun

Undergrad KE of Gas Molecules: n, KbT, U, and 3/2R
I know that KE=3/2KbT, but doesn't the KE of gas molecules also equal U=3/2nRT? When do I use which? And also for the second equation if it is for a monoatomic gas, n=1, why isn't the n deleted?- RougeSun

Do I Need a Battery for a Positive Redox Reaction?
For a reaction where the electric potential is positive, does there need to be something to provide voltage for the reaction to occur? Let's say E= 1.34V for the reaction. Do I need to connect the electrode terminals to a battery to provide 1.34V? -

Undergrad Why Do Protons Not Absorb Light Rays?
Protons can absorb photons too but it's easier for an electron to absorb it because it can move around- RougeSun

Calculate Initial Velocity of Object Thrown Vertically
I think using Vf^2=Vi^2 + 2ad would be better..Since the highest point is 30 that means at that point v equals 0.- RougeSun

Charging Time for RC Circuit with Capacitor and Resistor
Homework Statement A 1234. pF capacitor and a 5.6 × 106 ohm resistor are connected in series to 78. volts EMF. Approximately how long does it take the capacitor to become almost fully charged? Homework Equations Vf=Vo(1-e^(-t/RC)) The Attempt at a Solution I'm not sure if the...- RougeSun
