Can I Get a BS in Aero and an MS in Mech?
I can't tell you much as far as mechanical goes but it is very hard to find an aero/astro job right now unless you have experience, or live on the east or west coast. If you stick with aero get an intership or co-op. I graduated in dec '07 with a bs in astro from Purdue and I still can't find a...- rugabug

MATLAB Matlab Image Processing: Widening Intensity Range using Transfer Function
First I will admitt it has been a while since I have done image analysis with Matlab but what I think you are asking for is something like this. I'm not familiar with the double command so I'll just assume it is used correctly. Oh and don't use image as an imput and image is a command in matlab...- rugabug

Graduate Analytical Solution to Poisson's Equation
I have the equation del^2 phi =1 for 2-d (x and y) with the boundary condition being 0 along all 4 edges. I've looked in all my math books and can't find how to solve this. If anyone could get me started I would appreciate it.- rugabug

Undergrad How to Solve an ODE with Constant Non-Homogeneous Term and Boundary Conditions?
Thank you so very much for the help. I first found the complementary solution then add it to the particular solution and I am now solving for the constants. It's all starting to come back to me. It's been a handful of years since I took diff eq.- rugabug

Undergrad How to Solve an ODE with Constant Non-Homogeneous Term and Boundary Conditions?
I can't seem to find anywhere how to find the exact solution to the equation when the non-homogeneous part is just 1 and not a function. I would very much appreciate it if anyone could give me some assistance. Also for the bounday counditions doesn't one of them need to be phi prime? Thanks.- rugabug
