Math Co-ops/Internships for Mathematics Undergraduates
So, I'm transferring into a co-op program in mathematics this fall, and I am scheduled to have my first co-op this spring and summer! I'm very excited at the prospect of actually getting to do some work that is mathematically related, and I've already started my search process. If anyone has...- shelovesmath

Undergrad How to Approach Spivak's Calculus?
So, I've decided I need to do some Calculus reviewing since I haven't been in a Calc class since last fall, and I'm taking multivariate Calculus this fall. I own a copy of Spivak's calculus, and I know it's supposed to be a challenging math text, but I want to at least try my luck with it...- shelovesmath

Can Love Overcome Math Anxiety in Relationships?
I would say it needs a little tweaking still, but I'm sure he would appreciate that you are trying to write a poem about math for him. That's very sweet.- shelovesmath

Graduate Help with Tank problem- NOT TYPICAL
dx/dt = IN - OUT In: 0 (Because it's clean water) Out = (xlbs of sand/35 gallons of water)(5gallons/min) dx/dt = 0 - 5x/35 x(0) = 20 (at 0 minutes, there is exactly 20 pounds of sand in the tank) you need to find when x(t) = .2 this will tell you at what time t the tank has .2...- shelovesmath
