Element Selection for Voltage Doubler Design with Mathematical proof
I need to design a voltage doubler that takes in 115V-50Hz a.c. and produces a doubled voltage output of 230V dc. I am using this circuit: I need help in the mathematics part: i) How do I find the optimum value of capacitance? (Using high capacitance values reduces ripples; but can...- sns

How sinusoidal oscillators produce sinusoids?
Why/How does a linear oscillator give >>>sinusoidal<<< output? I am basically confused how the sinusoidal signal output generates from a random noise? Why sinusoidal and not something else? Can this be explained from the characteristic equation/circuit poles?- sns

Finding h parameters when capacitors and inductors involved with resistors
Well I had done the same and when I do it I start getting the same problems all over again.. Firstly please clear my concepts: Can h parameters vary with time? Because if we supply voltage V1 ie sinusoidal then currents flowing will not be constant.. thus ratios wouldn't be constant.. Am I...- sns

MATLAB MATLAB Simulink: Incomplete plot in scope
Often, after running a model in Simulink, the graph displayed in Scope is incomplete.. ie the initial portion of the graph is missing and only a part of the final portion remains. If I open the scope window as soon as the model starts running then I can see the graph being plotted but after a...- sns
