What is the Final Velocity of the 18 kg Rock After Collision in Space?
Homework Statement In outer space a rock with mass 4 kg, and velocity < 4000, -2800, 3400 > m/s, struck a rock with mass 18 kg and velocity < 250, -290, 260 > m/s. After the collision, the 4 kg rock's velocity is < 3600, -2300, 3900 > m/s. What is the final velocity of the 18 kg rock...- syjxpatty

Finding the Speed of a Mass Attached to a Spring Returning to its Relaxed Length
Homework Statement A horizontal spring with stiffness 0.6 N/m has a relaxed length of 18 cm (0.18 m). A mass of 23 grams (0.023 kg) is attached and you stretch the spring to a total length of 25 cm (0.25 m). The mass is then released from rest. What is the speed of the mass at the moment...- syjxpatty

Electric Potential Energy of protons
Ohh alright so do I still do, e = kq^2/r where r is distance between protons k is 9*10^9 0.16 * 1*10^6*1.6*10^-19 = 9*10^9 * (1.6*10^-19)^2 / r then I got r as (9x10^-15) the thing is that I got it wrong when i did it this way.- syjxpatty

Electric Potential Energy of protons
Homework Statement Two protons that are very far apart are hurled straight at each other, each with an initial kinetic energy of 0.16 MeV, where 1 mega electron volt is equal to 1x10^6 multiply (1.6x10^-19) joules. What is the separation of the protons from each other when they momentarily...- syjxpatty
