Graphical Analysis Question - Torque, Angular Displacement
Thanks for helping clear up that confusion. The problem states that the torque is constant, which implies that α should be constant, but I'm getting different accelerations at different times. I'm taking θi as 0.01 rad, with the ti as 0.1 seconds. What am I doing wrong (i.e. how do I go about...- Tempest Desh

Graphical Analysis Question - Torque, Angular Displacement
Okay, so I've found the equation of the graph to be f(x) = x^2, as the y-values are squares of the x-values. I'm not sure where to go from here to find the angular speed and thence the angular acceleration. Any ideas?- Tempest Desh

Find the Orthogonal Complement
Homework Statement Find the orthogonal complement. Homework Equations span {[0 0 1 0] [2 -1 0 1]} transpose The Attempt at a Solution I'm really confused on this. I've tried setting up things like this: [0 0 1 0] [2 -1 0 1] [x y z v] transpose = [0 0 0 0] transpose But...- Tempest Desh

Find a Basis for the Subspace of R4
Homework Statement Find a basis for the subspace of R4 spanned by S. Homework Equations S: {(2,9,-2,53), (-3,2,3,-2), (8,-3,-8,17), (0,-3,0,15)} I've attempted this using a matrix and row reducing it. I'm just not sure if there's another simpler way, as I keep on getting incorrect...- Tempest Desh

Testing Recovering from a failed first exam
Hey All, I hope this is in the right sub-forum. As the title states, I've failed my first exam in Linear Algebra, and I'm thus in a bind. I just need some advice on how to make a come-back, as I'd honestly like to earn an A or B in the class, as it's a retake. My professor does drop an exam...- Tempest Desh
