Graduate If there were only one charge in the universe.
there was this question that i saw in a book and it also had an answer . (this is not a homework question) The Question was: \phi = \oint_s\boldsymbol{E}.\partial\boldsymbol{ A}\neq 0 on any surface \phi = \oint_s\boldsymbol{E}.\partial\boldsymbol{ A}=0 if the charge is outside a...- the-ever-kid

I've Had this doubt from a long time back : Being in high school my physics teach simply stated that No explanations given. To quench my thirst I went through books and things . I found one difinitive result : a: In this Video http://bit.ly/wl8-0204 Prof.Walter Lewin Says...- the-ever-kid

Really odd problem in geometry?
Yes you are! lolz ...see you are going and relating angles in entirely diferent planes you can't do that...coz' only angle between straight lies can be equated not angle between perpendicular lines ...the angle β that you considered is on the zx plane while the angle θ is in the zy plane..- the-ever-kid

Undergrad Mathematica Vector Fields Explaination.
thank you chiro BTW i actually figured it out a little while ago... its like each point(x,y) become the origin and a vector like f(x)i+f(y)j is formed using it as the tail right? i did that for my point charge and got points f(x,y)=\frac{kQx}{(x^2 + y^2)^{3/2}},\frac{kQy}{(x^2 +...- the-ever-kid

Undergrad Mathematica Vector Fields Explaination.
I was about to do an experiment in Wolfram Mathematica like drawing electric field lines around a charged body and other arrangements. So i saw this nifty little Function for that very purpose called VectorPlot My Problem is that i don't know what the function does exactly i went through...- the-ever-kid

High School Work=Force*Stretch: Why is this?
i believe you want to know why work is force*displacement(stretch as you called it), right?... Here's the deal, you cannot have another equation of work with powers greater than one or less than it for force or the displacement...why?...because work isn't something that you see in nature, as it...- the-ever-kid
