Undergrad Black holes do not collapse to singularity>
But if black hole collapses to singularity, then is it 2d, 1d or 0d. Anyway, I can't just imagine any thing existing in Dimensions other than 3D. 0,1,2D are just contained in Mathematics, but how can they exists in real space-time? Its kinda paradox that a star must collapse to a point to form a...- think

Undergrad Black holes do not collapse to singularity>
Please read this article: http://www.nature.com/news/2004/040712/full/040712-12.html I can't understand, which it says This suggests that black holes do not actually narrow to a singularity at all I can't understand, please explain - think

Undergrad Why dont we see color red as blue in water?
kuenmao said: The frequency of the light emitted is directly proportional to the energy level difference between the excited state and the rest state of the electron. That brings me to ask a deeper  question: Why does it influences the frequency only but not the wavelength or velocity? -

Undergrad Why dont we see color red as blue in water?
Just a small question: If the wavelength of light changes in a denser medium then why don't we percieve color red as some other color? Also, why does only wavelength changes not the frequency but not the vice versa? What determines this? -

Which engineering stream is best?
Likes: 1)I like BioTech becaude it teaches you How to manipulate with building blocks of life i.e. DNA. More Imp It will possibly teach me basics of cloning. ah! Also Biotech is now at a position where IT was in mid 90's. 2)I like Instrumentation & Control coz it includes Robotics & AI (my...- think

Which engineering stream is best?
I am going to pursue Engineering at graduation level. But I'm confused about which type of engineering is best. I have three options: 1) BioTechnology 2) Instrumentation and control 3) Information Technology All are equally interesting to me. Please help me decide which one has the best...- think

Does ignorance of the Law of existence prove non-existence?
The Law of existence... The Law of existence. Anyone who knows this law, exists. Anyone who has communicated(one way or two way, in any form) with someone who knows this law, exists. Nobody else exists. Assume that 1. This law is true. 2. I know this law. 3. You cannot communicate(one...- think
