Undergrad What force holds together like charges in a capacitor, or a battery
I was wondering what force hold together like charges in capacitor, battery... we have a capacitor having two oppositely -charged plates so my question is what holds the electrons with electrons in one plate and what holds protons with protons in other plate since like charges repel each other...- torxxx

High School Is Magnetism Both Energy and Force?
My question is magnetism energy or force? On the one hand, it is energy because it can be transformed to say electricity, on the other hand is the force because, say, in the alternator, it transfers the mechanical to the electric energy .- torxxx

High School Whether the voltage is actually a magnetic force?
I understand and thank you for the answers but I was just wondering if what why called the magnetic force creating a new force voltage and these two forces in the combination transform the mechanical energy into the electrical energy- torxxx

High School Whether the voltage is actually a magnetic force?
ok then does that mean that the magnetic force creates another force voltage or potential pressure ... which then pushes the electrons through the closed circuit because say within the alternator the magnetic force transforms the mechanical energy into the electric energy- torxxx

High School Whether the voltage is actually a magnetic force?
My question is whether voltage is actually a magnetic force that pushes electrons through the electrical circuit. My question arises from the fact that conductor passes through the magnetic field and if the circuit is closed we have the electron movement as some force pushes the electrons it...- torxxx

High School How exactly does the electric force act?
I think that my confusion areas because of definition of force in force definition objects move because of the force and now why have force and why don't have acceleration- torxxx

High School How exactly does the electric force act?
greeting How exactly the electric force acts .The definition of force is In physics, a force is any interaction that, when unopposed, will change the motion of an object. as the electron circulates around the nucleus of the atom because of that I do not see how that force acts .- torxxx

Undergrad How can each Coulomb of charge transfer energy
thanks for the answers but I was rather surprised because I did not teach in school in this way so I'm not quite sure why the professors do not speak at school in such a way as you- torxxx

Undergrad How can each Coulomb of charge transfer energy
regards my question is how each coulomb of charge can lose (transfer ) energy when going from a to b when electrons are very slow the definition of potential difference: is how much each coulomb of the charge loses (transfer ) energy when going from a to b an example to clarify the question...- torxxx
