Engineering Circuit (equivalent resistance)
What i know is that potential stays the same across parallel sections and is summed up in series. How does that help me if i can't distinguish which one is in parallel or in series? Would you mind to explain a little further please, I'm kind of new to this.- triforce

Engineering Circuit (equivalent resistance)
Homework Statement Find the equivalent resistance Homework Equations Req(series) = R1 + R2... Req(parallel)=(1/R1+1/R2...)^-1 The Attempt at a Solution I'm having problems understanding how to simplify this circuit. There should be parallel and series "loops" to simplify but I'm having...- triforce

Power from Sound: Fans Create 12.56 Watts 1km Away
Homework Statement Fans at a stadium produce sound that is heard 1km away, the intensity level is 60 dB. How much acoustic power is generated by the fans? Homework Equations B = 10 log (I÷I_0) P=I*A The Attempt at a Solution I= 10^-12*6^10= 10^-6W/m^2 P= 10^-6*4pi*1000^2 =12.56W However...- triforce
