Audio Amplifier Using TIP 147, 142
I have cascaded these two , means first i install the Common colletor because of high input impedence and then i apply its output from emitter to LM386 ... but theere is no sound which i applied on common collector base. which type of microphone should i use for this.. please guide me.- Usama Khurram

Audio Amplifier Using TIP 147, 142
<< Obnoxious all caps post fixed by Moderators >>[/color] I have made an audio amplifier using an LM386 IC, but it does not amplify any sound from the microphone. Please help me to improve this using a Darlington pair or any other power transistor like the TIP147/142...- Usama Khurram

Connect ammeter before or after the load?
Is there any issue to connect the Ammeter in the circuit before or after the load. According to me, the current should remain same in circuit and there should be no restriction for Ammeter connection so it can be placed anywhere in the circuit. please explain why as this question asked to me by...- Usama Khurram

Diode Polarity: Anode, Cathode, Forward Bias
What is meant by diode polarity. If we do connect anode to positive and cathode to negative then its means it works on Forward Bias mode. I think positive means higher potential than negative, in other words, if positive terminal which is Anode is to be at 5 volts and negative terminal which is...- Usama Khurram
