I'm thinking about how light would react when passing through certain substance/or geometric medium
3 concepts come to mind when considering the idea
1 the light (beam, frequency notwithstanding) enters a prism and is...
This is something that has come to mind and I would want to hear what you other enthusiasts also think about it if you find it at all intruiging. The concept I am thinking about can be applied to a variety of processes but once the extent at which the idea surpasses customary principles it...
This is as I would describe it beyond what has become the norm that dictates how we define our lives in This world. Why does there have to be 12 months in a year and 2 12 hour divisions between night and day instead of some other length of duration such as 14 or 13?
How is that term defined exactly in the context of my ? Sounds like that could be it if it is not that already. Would that be the most technical response?
Can anyone (obviously someone can) tell me what the highest altitude an object in motion with no more potential energy to rise any further by itself can travel upward before it descends is called? I will appreciate your insight.
Does anybody have any thoughts about this idea? According to thermodynamics the law of conservation of momentum only applies to closed systems in which the amount of particles and their momentum is always constant because matter cannot be exchanged through its 'boundary' into the surroundings...
how then could anything have mass if everything is made up of particles? You say we can't experience anything that isn't 3d, yet ask for an example of something that has only 2. Anything without depth has only 2 dimensions. A still image of anything with depth will seem like there was distance...
What is the likelihood of anything gaining enough momentum that no other outside forces could ever slow it down any more than this 'break-through' velocity even if they are what accelerated it? Can things only possibly move as fast as how much power the forces that act upon them have? Will...
