Studying Advice on How to Pursue a Career in Planetary Research
Hi. Currently I’m 17 and I’m coming to the end of my first year of A levels. I have to start writing my ucas and applying for unis later this year. I’m really interested in space and have always wanted to go down that route, however I’ve not had much guidance as what to do with my future in...- Vishal Rana

High School Life Outside Our Planet Without Oxygen and Water
I’d say yes because life as we know so far is all carbon based from what I know and we all need water. The fact that we don’t know of species that aren’t carbon based or that don’t need water doesn’t mean every other species needs it. It’s not impossible so I reckon it’s possible...- Vishal Rana

Undergrad How is the universe expanding if the speed of light is finite?
My answer would be the universe is expanding still and the expansion rate is getting faster cause of dark energy. Yeah the speed of light is finite and nothing with mass can go at the speed of light but it’s the space in between the masses which is increasing faster than the speed of light...- Vishal Rana

Programs Cosmology and quantum mechanics as a joint degree?
Is it possible for me to do cosmology and quantum mechanics as a joint degree at uni? If so where and does it cost extra? I’ve been wondering for a whole and I’m not sure where to look.- Vishal Rana
