Graduate Definition of electric charge as rationalized charge
definition of electric charge as "rationalized charge" Hi All, I wonder about the meaning of the term "rationalized" when saying "rationalized electron charge." Does this mean that the charge is given in natural units? Thank you very much! Best- voltan

Graduate Which symmetry follows Ward-Takahashi identity?
I have got the following question, in the first place: Does Ward-Takahashi identity follow from local or global gauge invariance? Thanks!- voltan

Graduate What is the significance of manifest Lorentz covariance for field theories?
Thank you very much for all the replies! It is still not clear to me if there could be Lorentz-covariance without it being "manifest" (or "explicit")? Any opinion would be appreciated!- voltan

Graduate What is the significance of manifest Lorentz covariance for field theories?
My question is: what does "manifest" Lorentz covariance means for a field theory, as opposed to simply Lorentz invariance. Thanks for the replies!- voltan

Graduate Conservation of current in superconductor
Hello, I wonder: 1-) whether the (Cooper pair) current is conserved in a superconductor? 2-) and, how I can see it mathematically? 3-) are there any differences between the London theory and the BCS theory in regard to current conservation. I would appreciate any comments on these...- voltan
