Undergrad Can Bi-Quadratic Equations Be Represented in 3-Dimensional Graphs?
Trying to solve a bi-quadratic eq. so I can graph in in x and y , but Z means this is a 3-D graph? , is it possible to have a overlapping graph or any ideas?? X= +100 &-100 Z= a + bX + cX² + dY + eY² + fXY- Windseaker

High School What is the method for finding the mid-line of two parallel slopes?
sorry i did not explain correctly I am trying to find a line ( an average line) between two sloping lines that are parallel (but are just a little different from each other). I am trying to find that mid or average of the two.- Windseaker

High School What is the method for finding the mid-line of two parallel slopes?
I have a question: If you have two slope lines that don't touch but are parallel, how do you find the middle slope line of the two?- Windseaker

Can Tracking Degree Days Help Improve Energy Efficiency for HVAC Systems?
Q I have seen this but do not understand it. Oil-fill radiator electric heater is in a 10’x12’ room =120sqft set at 71 degrees. The setting switch is set at 900watts. In a 10hr period it only used 5.7kWh! ( 5.7kwh is recorded on a meter) The oil-fill heater is then set at 1500watts in the...- Windseaker

How Do You Evaluate Heating Options for a 3,000 Sqft Elementary School?
looking to find out what it take to retro-fit a small elementry school ( 3,000sqft) with new base board heater or small boiler. to calculate the different fuels (electric vs natural gas) and amounts used? In NW: older rates (just for calculations) electric is $.0463/kWh vs 1st 2,000...- Windseaker

How Do I Calculate the Right Hydraulic Motor for My Shredder Machine?
Would like to know how to calculate which hydraulic motor to turn a 2-1/2 dia shaft at a length of 30",with 15 mounted rotating chewing disks for a shredder machine. We are shredding soils and clay at about 40 yds/hr. we are also using a No. 80 drive chain on 12 to 19 tooth sprocket too...- Windseaker

How Does Water Pressure and Flow Rate Affect Rotational Sprinkler Dynamics?
That is an increase in momentum, ie delta mv. Delta mv is ma = applied force. F=mv/t or p(momentum) = mv 1 gallon of water is equal to 8.33 lbs F= (.1166gal/sec) 1094.9in/sec *(8.33lbs/1gal) = 1063.45lb*in/sec 1 (pound * in) / second = 0.0115212462 m kg /...- Windseaker
