Determinism: Can Scientific Explanations Explain Human Behaviour?

Fatalism isn't saying you can't affect the outcome. It is saying that with perfect information one could predict how you would affect it. You have to be careful about how you define "choice". You CAN change the outcome, but you can't change HOW you change it.

Graduate Is superposition dependant on the measurement of sound as well as sight?

Well that fact we don't have a GUT doesn't mean that the wave function can ignore gravity, also the fact that its a tiny force doesn't mean that it doesn't send information does it? If i was sensitive enough I would know an electron is pulling me towards it. But much like a eletric field...

Graduate Is superposition dependant on the measurement of sound as well as sight?

I have a question to piggyback with the OP's How about the gravitational forces of the particle? How are other particles attracted to another particle that is currenlty in a superposition of states? Does the gravity vector correlate to the wavefunction? Is and outside particle being pulled...

Understanding Amps: How Can They Be Determined Without Knowing the Circuit?

Ah excellent explanation, my final question is: why would adding greater resistance (more RAM chips, video cards, or other stuff that draws power) increase the amperage, and thus bringing it to the maximum levels? How come pugging more resistance (ie. vacuum cleaner, tv) into a outlet can blow a...

Understanding Amps: How Can They Be Determined Without Knowing the Circuit?

Well I an see what you mean for things like TVs or Vacuum cleaners. However, for something like computer hardware, you cannot determine the amperage for a motherboard, or RAM, unless you know all other components of the computer and power supply, no? Or for a more general example, you simply...

Understanding Amps: How Can They Be Determined Without Knowing the Circuit?

I often see on electrical devices, they say how many amps the device uses. But I wonder how can that be? if you do not know the voltage and the resistance (im guessing they do know the resistance) how can they tell you how many amps it pulls? Also doesn't it matter what components are in the...

Quiz: Beatles Songs - 8 Questions to Test Your Knowledge

none of them were as good as eric clapton was at guitar of course, but george great. but if harrison was by lightyears the best guitar player out of any of them, any guitarist can tell you that. John and paul were just like you mentioned, competent, but nothing more than that.

Quiz: Beatles Songs - 8 Questions to Test Your Knowledge

wait, post beatles he became amazing? you obviously don't know much about him then, he was an amazing guitarist, and the best musician out of all of them. Undoubtably with the guitar, lennon and mccartney aren't great guitarists by any stretch of the imagination. Harrison was a virutoso...
