Admissions Drop the Physics Requirement to Encourage More Women Engineers?

I agree why drop A-Level physics as a requirement which would be a huge necessity for going into a field like engineering, maybe if they aren't smart enough to go through A-Level physics they shouldn't be going into engineering.

How can I fix the constant popup window on my PC after a virus removal?

Do you have the free version of AVG if so I suggest purchasing nortons or symnantec. Do any of these appear as well? -CPU is always running at high processing -Programs don't function properly like they use to -There files on your computer you don't remember downloading (or files are missing)...

Speed at Takeoff and Average Acceleration

you need to use uniformly accelerated motion equations instead. If you don't know what these are I suggest reading through the beginning of your textbook. the equations you will need are position equation and velocity equation.

29 years old, undergraduate student, anxious about future

The United States has an abundance of Universities for physics and I'm by the looks of it an abundance of research jobs. Here's a list of Universities that are ranked high in physics https://www.usnews.com/education/best-global-universities/physics, I'd suggest looking over their websites and...

Graduate Anyone here study quantum mechanics for fun?

"If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't understand quantum mechanics" Personally I started learning some quantum physics but decided to stop and cement my understanding of other physics and learn the mathematical side of it a little more before fully trying to learn it myself...

Undergrad Transfer of Kinetic Energy Through House Walls?

Hello, I found some interest in this and decided to try and find a mathematical solution. First using the range and an estimate of the angle I roughly calculated what the initial velocity would have been, then taking that and finding the mass of the picture frame which I see as quite accurate...
