NASA NASA's Mars Plan May Include a Yearlong Mission to the Moon
A group of astronauts may spend a year in orbit around the moon in the late 2020s as part of NASA's plan to send humans to Mars in the 2030s, agency officials said today (May 9). Greg Williams, NASA's deputy associate administrator for policy and plans in the agency's Human Exploration and...- Zahid Hasan

Undergrad How far out are the probes that were sent out
Yes you are right. I just didn't go into detail. Well even then it only lasts very less time compared to the probes. Of course they have a radioactive material which we can't have for safety reason.- Zahid Hasan

Thank you, that's what I figured. Is it amazing of how old the tech is but is still working but our phone can't last more than 2 years mostly and needs to be replaced.- Zahid Hasan

So New Horizon will go further than Pioneer 10/11 in the same time length? Is it because of the faster launch time?- Zahid Hasan

Tony that looks great, I didn't even know there was an orbitsimulator... neat! I wish the blue dots can be clicked to see which probe is which, but it's ok.- Zahid Hasan

When I say data, i mean it as news source not just numbers but I presume you are correct... and I am sure 120 AU and 250 AU, a lot of things can happen but what do I know.- Zahid Hasan

True but it's always good to get fresh data... i wished they set aside little time/page to give us updates.- Zahid Hasan

Cassini's Grand Finale - Fascinating New Insight
I mean exactly what you said in the last sentence... even if not live but allow the general public to view the "fall" in first person view.- Zahid Hasan

It is most likely not possible, however it would be really nice to receive video feed as it travels the unknown... a video would really stands out more than just pictures. I wonder though, if any of the probes sent back video feed.- Zahid Hasan

High School Super-Earth Found in Habitable Zone of Nearby Red Dwarf
True you are absolutely right. My point was for interstellar travel we are required to do way more research than just going to the moon but your point is also valid for the fact that it may be possible as we don't know what the future holds. Regardless, I wonder if this planet has any...- Zahid Hasan

High School Super-Earth Found in Habitable Zone of Nearby Red Dwarf
You are absolutely right, it is good knowledge but that knowledge could be spent elsewhere to fix our current issues, but that's just me. Riding horses was local and the Moon isn't too far away, but at the rate we are going, I doubt those fast-travelling will be any time soon.- Zahid Hasan

Those are some good links. Searching on Google only displays result which was posted back in 2013 or so and not helpful for current. Thanks for the links. I am thinking maybe an floating asteroid or a large body?- Zahid Hasan

High School Super-Earth Found in Habitable Zone of Nearby Red Dwarf
It is really pointless but an amazing discovery. When are we planning on going to this "Super-Earth"? It is not realistic, at least not for another millions and millions of years, if even.- Zahid Hasan

Cassini's Grand Finale - Fascinating New Insight
I am imagining how awesome (per say) it would be to be inside that probe watching the fall, of course it will be a one way trip for anyone. I hope they record the fall pointing the camera toward the planet. It will be scary but amazing to see it.- Zahid Hasan
