Searching for a proper undergraduate project to undertake
I'm not sure about journals though. Cuz I was thinking articles there will be too deep for me. Doctoral level, advanced research. And for equipments I don't have, I could use the university's.- Zaya Bell

Searching for a proper undergraduate project to undertake
I have a multimeter, and yes I checked some school website, and some other website. I got an idea of possibly reducing bandwidth of tuning circuits to increase the spectrum space but I'm not sure bout the possibility of an undergraduate student cracking that.- Zaya Bell

Searching for a proper undergraduate project to undertake
Summary:: Searching for proper undergraduate project to undertake I'm a physics student, and I was randomly assigned a lecturer that was specialised in optics and electronics. He gave me two topic options to choose from, one was optics, the other electronics. However, I didn't like the...- Zaya Bell

Undergrad How do molecules radiate photons and contribute to thermal radiation?
I'm saying that all other forms except radiation is zero. It is said that all molecules above absolute zero emit thermal radiation which are actually photons. The question is, what is the source of the this photons? From the electron? nucleus? Where? And how?- Zaya Bell

Undergrad How do molecules radiate photons and contribute to thermal radiation?
If a substance gains energy, it's molecules vibrate faster and thus the material increases temperature. My question is if heat lost through any other means but radiation is zero, how exactly does these molecules radiate photons?- Zaya Bell

High School What is the purpose of the depletion region in P-N junction semiconductors?
First, by saying semiconductor, I think you really mean PN junction diode. Now, drift current is the tiny amount of current that flows when hole/electrons move from where they are highly concentrated to a region of lower concentration. This doesn't say anything about due to application of...- Zaya Bell

High School Is a Spark Necessary for the Production of EM Waves in the Hertz Experiment?
Hello, so I was reading bout the Hertz experiment in different text and they always say something about the Spark causing accelerated electric charge. So I was wondering, is the spark necessarily for the production of EM waves? If yes, why? Because as I recall, applying an ac voltage should...- Zaya Bell

Testing How to perform a major physics experiment at home
Generally, I love mechanics (which may include fluid mechanics, aerodynamics, or even orbital mechanics), electromagnetics and thermodymics. Nevertheless, I do get interested in electronics, electricity and optics. Yeah, I think you got what I meant the most, but on the basis of electronics and...- Zaya Bell

Testing How to perform a major physics experiment at home
One may be Hertz experiment where he created and detected em waves. Possibly, the cathode Ray experiment, and others that may have not being famously performed but are a good way of demonstrating a phenomenon.- Zaya Bell
