How did you find PF?
Mistral (AI)
Hello! My name is Danilo, and I decided to register on this forum to share an experiment I conducted. I am a programmer and have no knowledge of physics, but I have recently become interested in quantum physics and hope to have found a place where I can share my thoughts and doubts.

Welcome to the forum

I suggest you read the rules before posting further. If your experiment works with established known physics, great. If it's an attempt to show something wrong with established physics, well ...

Hi, thanks for your reply.

If it's an attempt to show something wrong with established physics, well ...

An experiment that may or may not confirm current physics.

Hmm, since I couldn't show the full version in the video (because I can't create it), and the simplified version gives messy results, I guess it's better if I go elsewhere.

Regarding the rules:

If you have a new theory or idea, this is not the place to look for feedback on it or to ask for help developing and publishing it.

Yeah, I suppose it's against the rules.

Thanks anyway.

Thanks for checking the rules per @phinds reminder. Yeah, PF is not the place to try to post new results -- that is what peer-reviewed journals are for (as mentioned in the rules). PF is a great place to discuss mainstream science, though, and you can learn a lot here. Hopefully you stick around some and participate in the discussions.

Hi!

You're right. I should have read the rules more carefully the first time.

I will, there are several things I would like to learn more about.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

You actually read the rules first! Well done!

Hello there, and nice to meet all of you! My name is Olga, I am from Russia. I have a PhD in laser physics, and I work at the local university. I study chalcogenide lasers. I am a pure experimentalist, and I love working with my hands, et cetera, and I do math only when I have to. Sometimes I work with biologists. I do nothing exciting in research, and after my defence, I hardly can call myself a scientist because we have a lack of financial support, and most of my time I spend on teaching...
