I was listening to Queen's Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy and it made me think of arildno. Actually, it reminds me of marlon too, but in a different way.

What songs remind you of other PFers?

Some more Queen songs:
Bicycle Race - BicycleTree - duh
Crazy Little Thing Called Love - wolram
Gimme the Prize - Smurf (quite aggressive, he is. And we all remember that world domination thing...)
Under Pressure - TheStatutoryApe (see, I get it )
Stone Cold Crazy - Lisa! :)
I'm Going Slightly Mad - Danger
The Miracle - Astronuc
Is This The World We Created - hypatia
Who Wants to Live Forever - SelfAdjoint ( Yes, I did)
Killer Queen - Evo
Somebody to Love - me
Fat Bottomed Girls - yeah right, I'm not stupid
We Will Rock You - yomamma and YDOAPS (ah, angry youth...)
We Are The Champions - Greg, chroot, and the Super Mentors!
Seven Seas of Rhye - Gale17 and her pirate crew
Radio Ga Ga - Moonbear (no cable!)
Don't Stop Me Now - MIH and Jonny Kennedy (the boy whose skin fell off - Great guy.)
You're So Square (Baby I Don't Care) - matt grime (allergic to GD :frown: but loves math )

I'll think of more... Maybe I could do all Queen songs - there's a bazillion of them...

This is Math is Hard's song.

Mathematical Pi

(To the tune of American Pie)

A long, long time ago,
I can still remember when those numbers used to make me cry.
But I knew if I had my chance,
I could make those figures dance
And in math class, I'd be happy for a while.

But studying made me quiver,
And each math fact would send a shiver
Bad news on my math test,
It sent me on a new quest.
I still recall with greatest pride,
The day my mind was opened wide.

Math's importance got inside,
The day I really tried.
And now I'm singing,
"Why, why don't you learn about Pi
Get ecstatic 'bout quadratics
And let calculus fly,
Take a swig of Trig
And you will be on a high,
Singing this'll be the day that I try."

How about Bob Dylan songs? In alphabetical order:

Ballad of a Thin Man - Ivan Seeking (because something is happening to his country and he don't know what it is)
Blowin' in the Wind - Alexandra
Bob Dylan's 115th Dream - Art
Desolation Row - zoobyshoe
Don't Think Twice, It's All Right - loseyourname (ex-wife loved it when I sang this to her - God, how sad)
Fourth Time Around - Bicycle Tree (I have no doubt that he would be this annoying and obnoxious to a woman dumping him)
Girl of the North Country - hypatia (I could see some guy remembering her fondly like this)
Gotta Serve Somebody - Russ Watters
Hard Rain's a Gonna Fall - The Smoking Man
Highway 61 Revisited - pattylou (the whole thing about creating and promoting the next world war)
It's All Right, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) - TheStatutoryApe
Just Like a Woman - smurf (he breaks just like a little girl)
Knockin' on Heaven's Door - selfAdjoint (sorry, I had to)
Love Minus Zero/No Limit - Evo
Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat - Math is Hard
Make You Feel My Love - heman (our new resident romantic)
Masters of War - Astronuc
Mr. Tambourine Man - Canute
My Back Pages - Moonbear (who seems to get younger as she ages)
Need a Woman - Motai
Oxford Town - hitssquad
Rainy Day Women #12 and 35 - stoned
Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands - honestrosewater
Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again - franznietzche
Subterranean Homesick Blues - Pengwuino
The Times, They Are a Changin' - Les Sleeth
Tombstone Blues - Happeh
Visions of Johanna - hynagogue

I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance
They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance
I have never seen that dress you're wearing
Or the highlights in your head that catch your eyes I have been blind
The lady in red is dancing with me cheek to cheek
There's nobody here, it's just you and me, It's where I want to be
But I hardly know this beauty by my side
I'll never for get, the way you look tonight

I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight
I've never seen you shine so bright you were amazing
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side
And when you turned to me and smiled, It took my breath away
I have never had such a feeling
Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight

The way you look tonight
I never will forget, the way you look tonight
The lady in red
The lady in red
The lady in red
My lady in red (I love you.)

I used to just love you; now I lust after you. :-p
I hate to disagree with you, Rosie, but I would have chosen 'Killer Queen' for Arildno and 'Born to Be Bad' for Evo. I'm afraid that the only Queen songs that I know are ones that made it to top 40, so I haven't even heard of the one that you assigned to me. Going by the title alone, it seems appropriate. I really should start accumulating their music, because I've loved everything of theirs that I've heard. Since I don't know much about you, I go by your username and assign to you 'The Rose' by Bette Midler. I somehow suspect that even if I knew you on a more personal basis that would still be my choice.
For Brewnog, I would choose "Wasn't That a Party" by The Irish Rovers.
For FredGarvin 'Three Little Fishies' (it's actually a very significant association)
RussWatters gets the theme from 'Dr. Strangelove'.
The 5-tone signal from 'Close Encounters of the Third Kind' for Ivan.
'Magic Man' by Heart for Tsu, since she must have had some trouble explaining Ivan to her parents.
Hypatia and 'Born to Run' are inextricably entwined in my mind.
There's a Stevie Wonder song that I associate with Lisa!, but I'm not going to name it.
If the 'Rug Rats' have a theme song, it goes to yomamma.
'Devil in a Blue Dress' goes to SOS
Icvotria makes me think of 'Dixie Lily' by Elton John.
It might just be because of the avatar, but I think of 'Take a Walk on the Wild Side' by Lou Reed when I see Loseyourname posting.
There are a couple of dozen that could apply to Astronuc. The first that comes to mind would be something nameless played on a didgeridoo. In deference to his username, and for simplicity's sake, I'll go with 'Rocket Man'.
I'm running out of space, and I have to get up in 4 hours to go to work, so I'll leave the rest for later.
