I happened to tune in to the premier of this. I missed breakfast because I was afraid if I left and came back later it would no longer be accessible.

I like the playfulness. After all, don't we "play" music?

Patrick is the fastest I've ever heard (as well as his other qualities). Emmet roolz with the sparser stuff. I like how the band keeps playing during the awesome bass solo. It always bugged me when they stopped.

I saw Patrick in Tokyo. That wasn't easy -- he was secretive about his gigs. I was there for two years, loved it, it's great for the arts, but eventually had had enough of the relentlessly unnatural environment.

Hah, playful indeed. And the speed is breathtaking! And jazz isn't even my favorite genre, but I see what you mean. Holy moly they know what they're doing!

EDIT: I can only imagine the calloused fingers of the bass-player, and I played bass in an amateur-band myself. Light-years from this of course, but I still had bloody fingers packed with gauze and gaffer tape.
