AI Thread Summary
Unexpected Valentine's Day e-cards may contain the Storm Worm virus, posing a cybersecurity threat rather than a romantic gesture. The FBI has issued a warning about these malicious e-cards, urging caution among recipients. Users are advised to be vigilant and not open unsolicited e-cards to avoid infection. Reports indicate an increase in worm attacks, with some users actively tracking the IP addresses of these threats. Protecting against such malware is essential, especially during holiday seasons when e-card scams are prevalent.

No, this is not a public health warning, but rather regards some malicious Valentine's ecards containing a worm.

If you unexpectedly receive a Valentine's Day e-card, be careful. It may not be from a secret admirer, but instead might contain the Storm Worm virus.

Thanks for the warning Moonbear!

Lately I get about 2 worm attacks every night. Norton blocks them but tells me the info, so I've been writing down the IP Address for each, I'm going to get them back...
