I'm just an old fart mechanical design engineer with a career in the electronics business. I do "electronics packaging" which has little to do with bubble wrap, cardboard boxes and the Shipping & Receiving Department LOL!

Being "between jobs" right now, I'm writing a paper on electronics heat transfer, contributing on various forums, annoying my connections on LinkedIn & Facebook with my political views, and continuing to write my "Mechanical Design & Drafting Guideline" and "Mechanical Drawing Notes with Guidance and Rationale".

I hope to learn things about physics and engineering on this forum and "spread the wealth of knowledge" to others. I've still got ten years until retirement and hope to find work soon.

Thanks Greg! Hey would it be OK to appeal for volunteer EE bloggers and authors for Electronics Cooling Magazine on here? ECM is non-profit.
Thanks,
Bruce

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
Hello! I am a recent graduate with a Bachelors of Science with a major in Mathematics and a minor in physics! I initially wanted to pursue advanced study in mathematics but taking some physics classes in my undergrad ignited an interest in physics for me! I am really interested in Particle and Nuclear Physics and hope to pursue a graduate study in said area some time in the future! Nice to meet everyone! I am happy to talk about physics with you all!
