Can I Use a Snubber for a Step Down Transformer? - Extra Info Appreciated!

In summary, a snubber can be used for a step-down transformer to reduce voltage spikes and protect the transformer from damage. This is especially helpful in high frequency applications. Additional information, such as the specific type of snubber and the transformer's load, can help determine the most effective implementation.

Hey... how it's going?

I signed up because I have a quick question about a snubber for a step down transformer.

I've already posted it on eeweb.com ... am I allowed to repost it here also? Extra info is certainly appreciated :)

Thanks,

- Leo
