Chemical Vapor Deposition - Diamond

Are there any instructional video's on how to make your own CVD Diamond optics. I was looking online and CVD Diamond wafers are EXTREMELY expensive.

Is it possible to make a plasma chamber for CVD if so does anyone have any good text recommendations

I'm no expert, but I think one of the bigger problems would be to maintain sufficient pressure so that what you obtain is diamond rather than graphite. See the phase diagram: http://phycomp.technion.ac.il/~anastasy/teza/teza/node5.html
