Chrome Vanadium or Drop Forged?

When we go to market to buy tools especially spanners, there are two types of such tools available, Chrome Vanadium and Drop Forged. These letters are punched on them. Please reply as;
• What does there means “Chrome Vanadium” and “Drop Forged”?
• Which tool is better from both of them?

Chromium Vanadium means that Chromium and Vanadium are in the metal (and some other elements).

Did you check drop forging?
