CNN interview of AI Tilly Norwood scripted or vision enabled?

Hi, I watched the short CNN interview of AI Tilly Norwood CNN interview of Tilly Norwood. Can someone tell me if Tilly Norwood was given access to the video feed and was vision-enabled and actually responding to the interviewer or was this scripted? Tilly answered question, commented about the video setup she was seeing in the studio and responded to the interviewer's question if she could see her with Tilly replying that the interviewer was wearing a blue dress with a button.

I asked AI about this and it said the interview was very likely scripted because giving Tilly access to the video feed would "have been a major technical milestone and a major ethical disclosure. But if Tilly was given the feed and vision-enabled, she could describe the studio and what the interviewer was wearing." CNN was not clear about this.

She was acting like a real human to me if not scripted. So I'm curious if AI has actually gotten this far.

I don't know how difficult it might be to verify the setup but I assure you, recognizing a person, their clothing, and the room they are in is well within the capabilities of the latest AI.

There's no reason for them to have scripted that.

To be clear: just because the question wasn't scripted doesn't mean it wasn't staged.
They surely asked it that to showcase its abilities. But I do not doubt it answered of its own accord.
 
Yes, and sometimes processing time may slow it down, so the pauses could be edited out. Julia Child did that: something is on the stovetop, then there's a cut where Julia Child switches identical pots, and then the video resumes and Julia continues with the lesson.

There was a controversy some time ago when a politician was interviewed, and another complained about what was said during the commercial break. People believed the interviewee waited for the commercial.

Folks didn't realize the interview pauses briefly so the interviewer can say, "Time for a commercial break," then, "We're back from the break," and continue the interview.

For the interviewee, there was no commercial break pause.
