Convert 8.2 x 10 to the 19 power pm to miles

Homework Equations

Convert 1.5 ft to inches

The Attempt at a Solution

I multiplied 8.2 x 10 to the 19 power times 10 to the negative 12 power and then divided it by 1609 and got 5.4 x 10 to the ninth power

Not clear to me either. What's a "pm"? Some distance measurement?

Also, if you click the Sigma symbol in the Advanced Reply menu, you can put your equations into LaTeX to make them clearer. Like:

[tex]D = 8.2 * 10^{19}[/tex]

I believe that "pm" would stand for "picometers". The op can correct me if I am wrong.
