Hello to Everyone!
I'm an undergraduate student in Physics and this is my first year at university, I'm Italian, and I have to admit my complete ignorance over every subject of human knowledge: Actually I'm interested in many many things, but I am completely aware that the road ahead in each of them is very vast.
I, Knowing this, come to here to at least grab some of the crumbs that fall out of the table of the people who know better than me.
My interests include: Physics, Math, Astronomy, Bushcraft(especially fire-making), Hiking, Reading
Oh and also I think you can tell immediately what my favorite book is by solving this:
Eju fof upi rbrm npyjrt dpabomh zr? O'z mpy s zrddshr.
I, for now at least, seem to have much spare time from studying at University, since most of my friends are occupied for now, I have decided I should investigate new things and it came to mind to study things in advance, since I think it is useless to do stuff that I'll learn in a few months from now at University, I wanted to investigate (even scratch lightly for now) things that last year I didn't now they even existed.
Hence I'm studying Linear Algebra and other stuff (I've been also starting to try out some basic Lie Algebra and Topology, but again, I am at the very basics) so as to have a very good math basis for the future (I have been told this is very crucial in physics nowadays).
I have not yet decided what to do after University, I have no idea, my only goal: not to end up behind a desk all day long.
Why I told you all of this? Because I'd like suggestions:
about what to learn, about possible future carrier, about where to learn, and how to use this very sophisticated wax table with internet connection to know even more interesting things.
I would be very pleased to know how things work out in other universities abroad and I'd like making new friends out there.
I'm open to critics, tips and whatever else can help me grow and discover new things.
For now I think I wrote enough,
Cheers to you all!
