Do I need a college degree to be considered?

I will try to finish your question with what I think you may have been trying to ask:

Do I need a college degree to be considered for:

PhD programs: Yes.

Master's Programs: Yes.

Professorship: Yes and then some.

A job where most people think you do need a college degree: Most likely yes.

for an annual income that can support a family?

Yes.

Yes.

The answer to that should be No. Are you seriously that dense?

Disagree with the last one. Workers in many of the trades (electrician, auto mechanic, etc.) can do very well without one.
