While conventional means of energy production require fossil fuels and nuclear fission, do you guys think it will be possible to create a generator that runs off the very existence of reality? A reality drive so to speak. It can pull energy off the vibrating loops that make up sub atomic particles at the plank scale.

I'm afraid that "a generator that runs off the very existence of reality" is not a scientific concept. Please reread the PF Rules on Overly Speculative Posts.

Honestly, I don't think that would be possible. Like Vanadium 50 said, it is simply not a scientific concept and has never been considered one.

Then there's the Infinite Improbability Drive . . . . .

It's called a "en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perpetual_motion"[/URL] machine. Many many inventors (and some scientists of old) have tried and failed to create one. They are, in fact, impossible.
