How did you find PF?
I wanted to get a question answered, related to electro-chemistry. I Googled something like "chemistry forum".
I am a semi-retired electrical design engineer who specializes in electronic power conversion. I come up with personal projects from time to time, and those can raise questions outside my (relatively narrow) area of expertise.

Welcome to PF from a fellow EE!

Thank you! My EE projects often seem to work well until they run into other sciences....My purpose in joining this forum is to ask about apparent corrosion of stainless steel wire electrodes conducting current through garden soil.

Probably the ME forum or the Chemistry or Material Science forum would be the best place to start that thread.

Edit -- I see you already did start your thread in the Chemistry forum. Good choice!

Thank you. I have been to the chemistry forum and done that. I am here because I was advised to do so on first sign up.

Hello everyone, I'm Cosmo. I'm an 18 years old student majoring in physics. I found this forum cause I was searching on Google if it's common for physics student to feel like they're in the wrong major in the first semester cause it feels like too much for me to learn the materials even the ones that are considered as "basic math" or "basic physics", I've initial fascination with the universe's mysteries and it disconnect with the reality of intense, foundational mathematics courses required...
