Equation linking all fundamental constants

AI Thread Summary
A user is seeking an equation that links all fundamental constants, such as the electron charge, gravitational constant, and Planck's constant, in a dimensionless form. Various suggestions are made, including the fine structure equation, the Drake equation, and the Hawking radiation temperature equation, but none satisfy the user's request. The user expresses uncertainty about the existence of the equation, recalling it from a cosmology context. Other participants suggest looking into cosmology videos for potential leads. The discussion highlights the challenge of finding a specific equation relating fundamental constants.

Folks,

I remember once seeing an equation that linked all the important fundamental constants - electron charge/alpha, gravitational constant, planks constant, speed of light, electron mass etc - in a dimensionless relationship. But for the life of me I cannot find it -google doesn't know everything yet. It may have the answer but it doesn't know how to get it to me.. Can anyone help?

Thanks

J.

Thanks guys, but those aren't quite what I'm looking for. I may be imagining it, it was a long time ago, but I vaguely remember from cosmology there was a relationship between the physical constants that was dimensionless. I've wikipedia'd and googled and not found it. Thanks for your help.

Probably wrong but I saw a video where he mentions the special constants and its a cosmology video might not have the equation your looking for as it seemed to be about converting the units however you might find it in one of his excellent videos.

Thread 'Is there a white hole inside every black hole?'
This is what I am thinking. How much feasible is it? There is a white hole inside every black hole The white hole spits mass/energy out continuously The mass/energy that is spit out of a white hole drops back into it eventually. This is because of extreme space time curvature around the white hole Ironically this extreme space time curvature of the space around a white hole is caused by the huge mass/energy packed in the white hole Because of continuously spitting mass/energy which keeps...
Why do two separately floating objects in a liquid "attract" each other ?? What if gravity is an emergent property like surface tension ? What if they both are essentially trying to *minimize disorder at the interfaces — where non-aligned polarized particles are forced to mix with each other* What if gravity is an emergent property that is trying to optimize the entropy emerging out of spin aligned quantum bits
