The discussion centers on the difficulty of removing the speed regulator from the Ebikeling 36V 500W electric bike kit, which limits the bike's speed to 20 mph. Users report that the motor stops assisting when attempting to exceed this speed, causing frustration. The speed regulator is noted to be a safety feature, and bypassing it is discouraged due to potential safety and regulatory issues. The original poster has not found effective solutions for this specific speed controller. The thread concludes with a note that no further assistance will be provided.

I just installed this bike kit http://www.ebay.com/itm/36V-500W-Geared-26-Front-Rear-Ebikeling-Electric-Bicycle-Conversion-Kit-ebike-/271923152076?var=&hash=item3f4fe204cc:m:mDQBWD22DB6VOvwhv_g145g
It is a LED Display with a front wheel hub
How do i get rid of the speed regulator. The ebike can get to 20mph super easily then when i help it to go faster the motor stops helping. I heard that other people has these problems so i googled it. I couldn't find any solutions that worked with the ebikling speed controller (the one that came with my kit)

The speed regulator is implemented for safety and in some cases regulatory requirements. I would not recommend bypassing this limitation.

You're not going to get help with this here at the PF. Thread is closed.

Had my central air system checked when it sortta wasn't working. I guess I hadn't replaced the filter. Guy suggested I might want to get a UV filter accessory. He said it would "kill bugs and particulates". I know UV can kill the former, not sure how he thinks it's gonna murder the latter. Now I'm finding out there's more than one type of UV filter: one for the air flow and one for the coil. He was suggesting we might get one for the air flow, but now we'll have to change the bulb...
