Hello everyone,

My name is Sara and I'm a high school student who loves science, particularly physics. I'm in 12th grade and I'm in a specific curriculum which is the 'French International Baccalaureate', I am currently working on a research project titled 'What role do American universities play in Scientific Advancements?' that I will present for my final exam next year during an oral exam.

My projects aims to explore how colleges contribute to scientific innovation and global knowledge. I am looking for someone from the USA teaching physics/science at a college or a student attending university and learning physics, who could answer some of my questions and explain their research: project, studies/discoveries made in their university that helped to improve science in America.

I would be very grateful for an opportunity to discuss science and physics, even a brief exchange would help me build my presentation project:)

Looking forward to an answer,
Sara

Hi Sara,

Welcome to PF. Unfortunately we do not allow interview-type threads or interactions here (for privacy and anti-phishing reasons), so this thread is now closed. Perhaps you can have some luck by checking out various US university websites and the associated Facebook pages. Best of luck.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
