If your question is "if nothing gets out how does gravity get out?" it is an oversimplification but not completely wrong to say that gravity was caused by the matter as it was falling in.

As Van says, all the mass that is inside a Black Hole was once outside the black hole. There, it curved spacetime. That curvature does not go away.
