Hi, Old, retired guy, but still curious. Play WOT, Chopin, and attempting to work my way through Core Theory mathematics and the ontolgy implied.
Currently need help with Hamiltonian Transform of Hilbert Space, and reason why particle position function is treated like a wave.

Welcome to the PF.

My background is in operations research and process quality control (ISO 9000)
Questions:
1. Help with representation algebra and Hamiltonian Transforms to Hilbert Space.
2. Why the particle position distribution is treated as a wave?

To get help with those questions, start out by reading related threads in the various subforums of the Physics section of the PF. Consider using the Search feature in the upper right to help you find threads on those subjects. And after you've done that reading, maybe start a New Thread in the best-fitting Physics sub-forum. Include links to the reading you've been doing about the question, and give as many details about what you know as possible. You should get very good responses to your questions.

Hello fellow Physics enthusiasts, I am an aeronautical engineering graduate (Bachelor's) who is interested in Physics and Mathematics, and I have been re-learning all the basics. I wanted to join a science forum, especially one dedicated to Physics and maths, to apply these subjects to my engineering studies. I hope to learn a lot through this forum. Thank you for your warm welcome.
