How did you find PF?
Via Google search.
I found Physics Forums via a Google search. I was working on a particularly challenging physics homework problem related to electromagnetism. I typed in keywords like "physics problem solving forum" and Physics Forums popped up at the top of the search results. The description mentioned that it offers science discussion and homework help, which was exactly what I needed at that moment. So I clicked on the link and explored the site. It seems like a great place to interact with other physics enthusiasts and get help on difficult concepts.

You've come to the right place. Welcome to the forum.

For homework help questions, don't forget to fill out the 3-item homework form and show what work you have done so far and where you are stuck.

Hello everyone, I was advised to join this community while seeking guidance on how to navigate the academic world as an independent researcher. My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
