SUMMARY
As of now, several hundred candidate Einstein rings, which are galaxies lensed by gravity, have been identified. The Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment (OGLE) has catalogued the majority of these candidate events. Gravitational lensing remains a relatively rare phenomenon, yet the number of identified instances continues to grow. For detailed information, refer to the OGLE project website at http://ogle.astrouw.edu.pl/.
