SUMMARY

Cold Fusion, also known as Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), is experiencing renewed interest and investment, particularly from Woodford Patient Capital Trust, which has invested in Industrial Heat LLC. This company recently acquired the rights to LENR technology developed by Andrea Rossi, specifically the E-Cat technology. Despite the skepticism surrounding cold fusion, private investors are increasingly willing to fund these ventures, suggesting a potential shift in the perception of LENR technology.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR)
  • Familiarity with investment dynamics in emerging technologies
  • Knowledge of Andrea Rossi's E-Cat technology
  • Awareness of the scientific controversies surrounding cold fusion
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the latest developments in LENR technology
  • Examine the investment strategies of Woodford Patient Capital Trust
  • Explore the scientific critiques and validations of cold fusion
  • Investigate the implications of private funding in controversial technologies
USEFUL FOR

Investors, researchers in nuclear physics, and technology enthusiasts interested in the potential of cold fusion and its impact on energy solutions.

I'm not sure if we are allowed to discuss the physics of so called Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), aka Cold Fusion, on this forum but I was interested to see that it may still be attracting serious investment..

At the time of writing it appears Woodford Patient Capital Trust has invested in Industrial Heat LLC which last year acquired the rights to LENR technology developed by Andrea Rossi..

Snake oil often has investors. It is a fallacy to equate investment with sound science or workable technology.

But private investors do tent to invest in less snake oil than the government.

It's in the Forbidden Topics list in the PF rules (see Info at the top of the page).
