I attached the problem, idk if it's really easy or If I'm doing it all wrong.

Since T is a linear transformation T(u+v)=T(u)+T(v)=w+0=w?

Well, sure. What do you think you could possibly be doing wrong?
 
Idk just seems too easy for a problem found at the "end" of a section lol.
