New Graduate Experience: MSc Electronics Lab Work

AI Thread Summary
Recent graduates can include lab experience from their degree programs on application forms, as it demonstrates practical skills and knowledge relevant to their field. Engaging in a device fabrication lab for 8-9 months, both part-time and full-time, is valuable experience that can enhance an application. Recommendations from teachers or supervisors can further validate this experience and highlight its significance. It is important to frame this experience positively to showcase its relevance to potential employers. Overall, lab work during an MSc in Electronics is indeed applicable and should be highlighted in applications.

Hello.

I hope everyone is well.

I was just wondering about experience for a recent graduate ...I am doing an MSc in Electronics, and will be spending about 8-9 months in our device fabrication lab on a part-time and then full time basis (full time over the summer).

Could this be put down as experience on an application form etc? Or, because it is part of a degree, would it not be viewed as such?

Thanks for any input.
